The Yarmouth and Yarmouth Castle (ex-Evangeline) (5,043 grt, 378 ft. long)
were built in 1927 for the original Eastern Steamship Lines'
service
between Boston, Mass. and Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. They were sold in the early 1950s and
transferred to cruising out of Miami.
