To The East Asiatic Company.

The Boringia (5,821 grt, c. 440 ft. long) was built in 1930.
Another funnel-less cargo-passenger motorship for which the East Asiatic Company was well-known,
she sailed on the Bangkok route until April 1940 when seized first by the French and later by the British.
She was torpedoed and sunk outside Cape Town in the autumn of 1942.
