Air Westward began flying in May 1978. The airline was taken over by the owners of BIA - British Island Airways in March 1979. Its routes reappeared in May that year under BIA/Air West titles. BIA/Air West, together with BIA, Air Anglia and Air Wales, disappeared into the newly-formed Air UK in January 1980. |
