British Air Services was established by BEA in 1967 to act as the holding company of its subsidiaries Cambrian Airways and BKS Air Transport (renamed Northeast Airlines in 1970). When British Airways was formed, British Air Services became British Airways Regional Division in 1973. Both airlines had disappeared into British Airways by 1976.
