to Air Union

This aircraft is the Lioré et Olivier LeO 211 F-AIFD. It was originally designated LeO 21 as one of two prototypes built in 1926. It was put on the Paris-London route in July 1927 with space for 6 passengers in a forward cabin and 12 in a rear cabin. Another 10 production aircraft (LeO 213) were produced for Air Union and also used on Paris-Lyons-Marseilles and Paris-Geneva routes. All the LeO aircraft in Air Union's fleet had the title "Le Rayon d'Or/The Golden Ray" painted on them.
