Adria Aero Lloyd

Albania and Italy

*

Adria Aero Lloyd, formed in the mid-1920s, came under control of SAM -Società Aerea Mediterranea of Italy in 1927. (Schedules of Adria Aero Lloyd were also included in SAM's timetables although the airline was not mentioned as being the operator, only as an agent of SAM.) In the 1920s and '30s, Italy had a great influence in Albania, rendering financial and military support.

Adria Aero Lloyd was merged into Ala Littoria the year after the new national carrier had been founded by SAM and other Italian airlines in 1934.
