To Italian Line.

The Rossini (13,225 grt, 528 ft long) was originally the Neptunia and sailed on Lloyd Triestino's route to Australia
from 1951 until sold to the Italian Line in 1963. She was then renamed Rossini and transferred to her new owner's
South Pacific route. Taken out of service in 1976, she was broken up a year later.

This photo of the Rossini was taken in Barcelona, Spain, on September 28, 1966. The
photographer sailed on the ship, which was Italy-bound having left Valparaiso early
in the month.
