To Eastern Steamship Lines.

The Ariadne (6,644 grt, 454 ft. long) was originally built as the Patricia for the Gothenburg-Tilbury route of Swedish Lloyd.
Put in service in 1951 she proved too large for her day and was sold in 1957 to Hamburg-American Line (Hapag)
to become the cruise ship Ariadne, but was sold again after a few years to Eastern Steamship Lines.
She retained her name, but was sold out of the fleet in 1972.
Under several other names she survived until scrapped in 1998.
