To Eastern Steamship Lines.


The New Bahama Star (9,920 grt as built, 488 ft. long) was originally the Jerusalem, built in 1957 for Zim Lines'
Mediterranean services. She was transferred to Caribbean cruise work during the 1960s and eventually sold to
Eastern Steamship Lines. Withdrawn in 1975 and laid up, she sunk on tow for breakers at Taiwan in 1979.
