Back to Bland Line.

The Gibel Sarsar (1,728 grt, 300 ft. long) was built in 1898 as the Isis for the Brindisi-Port Said express service of P&O Line.
Taken over by the British Admiralty following the outbreak of the Great War, she was bought by
Bland Line in 1920 to be renamed Gibel Sarsar. Laid up in 1923, she was scrapped three years later.
