To American Line.

For the duration of this sailing list White Star Line's Boston-Liverpool service
as well as the sailings of Leyland Line and Red Star Line were temporarily discontinued.
The New York-London service of Atlantic Transport Line was "to be announced".

Many of the liners listed above had been taken over by the British Government for transport duties
(Minneapolis, Minnetonka, Minnewaska, Winifredian, Laurentic and Baltic)
or conversion to auxiliary cruisers (Cedric and Celtic).
The Merion had been rebuilt as a dummy battle-cruiser.
The Olympic had been laid up since October 1914.

Some of the Red Star liners had been transferred to other lines within the IMM group:
Lapland to White Star Line and Vaderland and Zeeland (renamed Southland and Northland)
to White Star-Dominion Line. Two other Red Star Liners, the Finland and Kroonland,
were transferred to the New York-San Francisco route through the newly-opened Panama Canal,
although the sailings were not shown, only advertised, in this sailing list.
