Ellis Air Lines

Ellis Air Lines started flying in 1936 over a network in southeastern Alaska. The airline merged with
Alaska Coastal Airlines in April 1962. The combined airline traded for a short while as
Alaska Coastal Ellis Airlines. Alaska Coastal was eventually taken over by Alaska Airlines in April 1968.
