Pierre Burello, the Chief Pilot of CIDNA.
CIDNA was one of the airlines of the merger which created Air France and Burello joined the latter company.
He was among the casualties when a Lioré et Olivier flying boat on the Marseilles-Ajaccio-Tunis route
crashed on departure in 1938, striking a breakwater.
