TCA/Air Canada system timetables were issued in two separate editions for each timetable publication date between 1961 and 1983.

The edition for domestic and Canada-USA routes was initially called "North American Services", then "Canada and USA Services", again "North American Services" and finally "North American Timetable". It was normally available in Europe. This edition also came in a US version, with little difference from the Canadian home edition, thus continuing the tradition from the pre-1961 period, when TCA's complete system timetable was also published in a US version.

The edition for international routes (omitting, or with condensed, Canada-USA services) was initially called "Overseas and Southern Services", then "International Services" and finally "International Timetable". The latter was available in a European version from 1976 with different covers but same contents. Between 1961 and 1976, TCA/Air Canada timetables for international routes available in Europe included transatlantic routes only.

Air Canada again published full system timetables from 1983, with additional European and US editions (system) until these were abandoned in 1991.

On his "AirTimes" website, Perry Sloan has done his best to penetrate and explain the somewhat confusing timetable publication history of TCA/Air Canada, as well as scientifically classify the many different timetable editions. Read his initials comments "About Air Canada Timetables" on his Air Canada page.
