Viking Line

Åland (Finland)

Originally, when founded in 1966, Viking Line (Vikinglinjen) was a marketing company owned by two shipping companies in Åland,
Rederi Ab Ålandsfärjan and Rederi Ab Solstad (formerly Rederi Ab Vikinglinjen), and a Swedish company, Rederi AB Slite.
Eventually, in 1993 SF Line (the former Ålandsfärjan) became the sole owner of Viking Line
and formally changed its name to Viking Line in 1995.
