To Union-Castle Line.

Kenya Castle, Rhodesia Castle and Braemar Castle

*

The Kenya Castle (17,041 grt, 576 ft. long) was one of three liners built in 1951-52
for use on the around Africa service, the two others being the
Rhodesia Castle (17,041 grt, 576 ft. long) and Braemar Castle (17,029 grt, 576 ft. long).
Whereas the two latter ships were broken up in 1966-67, the Kenya Castle enjoyed a second career from 1968,
now as the Amerikanis of the Chandris Line. She was finally broken up in 2001.
