To Shaw Savill Line.

The Dominion Monarch (27,155 grt, 682 ft. long) was completed shortly before WW2.
She served as a troop transport from 1940 until refitted (26,463 grt) in 1947-48 for New Zealand service again.
The postcard below shows her on her last mission as an accomodation ship during the Seattle World's Fair
in the summer/autumn of 1962. In November of that year she sailed for breakers in Japan.
