To Pacific Steamship Co.

The H.F. Alexander (8,327 grt, 509 ft. long) was built in 1915 as the Great Northern for coastwise service with the
Great Northern Pacific Steamship Co. After war service as a transport both during WW1 and WW2 she was scrapped in the late 1940s.

Quotes from the brochure:

"The steamship 'H. F. Alexander' is the former world-famous 'Great Northern' and the largest,
fastest and most luxurious coastwise vessel in the world."..."Among her distinctive
features is her remarkable speed, which enables her to make practically the same time as trains."
