To Johnson Line.

The Rosario (8,445 grt, 490 ft. long when built; 10,283 grt, 569 ft. long after lengthening in 1969) was put in service in 1960.
She was mainly used on the La Plata-run with accomodations for only 4 passengers.
Sold in 1981, she was scrapped in 1983. The photo shows her after her rebuilding.

The Rosario was one of seven ships in the Rio series built in the late 1950s and early 1960s.
All were rebuilt in 1968-69, with the two oldest fitted with a 100-ton heavy crane each as seen in the photo below
of the Rio de Janeiro (10,347 grt, 569 ft. long in 1969). She was sold to be broken up in 1980.
