The João Belo (6,413 grt) was built in 1905 as the Gertrud Woermann of the Woermann Linie.
She became the Windhuk, when acquired by Hamburg-American Line in 1907, but was taken over by Ellerman Lines
as war reparations in 1921, being renamed City of Genoa. CCN bought her in 1928, giving her yet another name,
João Belo. She was eventually scrapped in 1950.
